SethSeth Filkins
Assistant Market Director

After attending the University of Michigan for Aerospace Engineering, Filkins began working with NASA and their Pasadena Jet Propulsion Laboratories. After a short time, Filkins quickly became bored of the technical sector. Seeking a more exciting career path, he attended flight school and took to the sky as a pilot/flight instructor. Filkins enjoyed the skies above, but teaching others to fly was not enough to satisfy the goals he had set for himself. Filkins then went back to school to acquire an education in Business with a concentration in Marketing. Subsequently he started a small health and wellness company, drawing on his background as a personal trainer and bodybuilder. Filkins’ company was in business for more than two years, when he decided to sell the company in 2007 to come join the team at USMA.  At this point, Filkins feels as if all of that education and entrepreneurial spirit is finally being put to good use.
